Jodi
Gavurnik is a musician and an artist. Her music and artwork are her
celebration of her personal rising above the abyss of unrelenting chronic
pain, personal loss, and deep, inconsolable grief. She has lived with
chronic pain for over15 years and it is through her music and artwork
that she was able to reconnect to her spiritual self and complete her
more than ten year long journey from darkness and hopelessness, to faith,
emotional healing, and trust in the miracles of Spirit. Her music and
art comes to her from her connection to her higher self and the universal
life source, and expresses the deep healing she experiences from this
connection.
Jodi Gavurnik writes, plays, and produces all of her own music. She
draws all of her music artwork. Using a variety of nature sounds, keyboard
instruments, including piano, guitar, bass, violin, cello, horns, flutes,
and sound effects, she composes soothing and expressive instrumental
music. She continually experiments with new sounds and mixtures to produce
unique and interpretive music.
Along with her love of music, Jodi
is also an abstract artist. While not formally trained, she brings to
life her vivid geometric designs with an innate and unique sense of
placement, space, movement, and color. Each drawing and collage presents
a multitude of interpretation and wonder.
Jodi has a deep Spiritual connection and respect for the Earth and she
lives her life accordingly. She finds that her music and artwork offer
her profound personal healing, and also fulfills her need to be in touch
with her inner self. With
her music and artwork, Jodi Gavurnik tries to spread healing energy
throughout the world to help make life a higher and lighter experience
for everyone and to help heal the Earth. It
is her wish that the listener and art aficionado will be touched on
many levels and that they too will be transcended to a better place.
Her
work will calm your mind, soothe your heart, and touch your soul; it
is a must have for all of us who want to consciously know inner peace
and healing on all levels.
